Terms of Service ("Agreement")
This Agreement was last modified on July 17, 2026.
Please read these Terms of Service completely before using the Coverage Cody website ("Site"), which is owned and operated by Coverage Cody. This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to your use of the Site and Coverage Cody's insurance-matching services.
By using or accessing the Site in any way, viewing or browsing the Site, submitting information, or using any of its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Insurance-Matching Service
Coverage Cody is an independent insurance marketing and matching service. We help connect consumers with insurance companies, licensed insurance agents, brokers, agencies, and other insurance professionals that may be able to assist with their insurance needs.
Coverage Cody is not an insurance company, insurance carrier, insurance agency, insurance broker, or insurance provider. Coverage Cody does not directly sell, issue, underwrite, bind, administer, or guarantee insurance policies.
Coverage Cody does not make decisions regarding insurance eligibility, coverage, premiums, rates, exclusions, claims, cancellations, or policy terms.
Any insurance quote, recommendation, product, policy, or service you receive will be provided by an independent insurance provider or insurance professional—not Coverage Cody.
No Guarantee of Coverage or Savings
Submitting your information through the Site does not guarantee that:
- You will be matched with an insurance provider;
- You will receive an insurance quote;
- You will qualify for insurance coverage;
- A particular insurance product will be available;
- You will receive a lower rate or save money;
- An insurance provider will contact you; or
- Any insurance policy will meet your particular needs.
Insurance availability, pricing, eligibility, and policy terms are determined solely by the insurance providers and professionals with whom you may be matched.
You are responsible for reviewing all insurance documents, policy terms, exclusions, limitations, costs, and conditions before purchasing coverage.
General Information Only
The information provided on the Site is for general informational and marketing purposes only.
Nothing on the Site is intended to constitute insurance, financial, tax, legal, medical, or professional advice. Coverage Cody does not recommend or endorse a particular insurance carrier, agent, agency, policy, coverage amount, or insurance product unless expressly stated.
You should speak directly with a properly licensed insurance professional before making decisions regarding insurance coverage.
Coverage Cody makes no representation that information available on the Site is complete, accurate, current, or appropriate for your particular circumstances.
Information You Submit
When you submit information through the Site, you represent that:
- The information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge;
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You are submitting information for yourself or have permission to submit it for another person;
- You will not impersonate another person;
- You will not knowingly submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful information; and
- You have the right to provide the information submitted.
You are responsible for updating or correcting information that you discover is inaccurate.
Coverage Cody may refuse, remove, or disregard any submission that we believe is fraudulent, misleading, incomplete, unlawful, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
Sharing Your Information
To provide our insurance-matching services, Coverage Cody may share, transfer, sell, or disclose information submitted through the Site to insurance companies, licensed insurance agents, brokers, agencies, call centers, lead buyers, marketing partners, or other insurance professionals.
Coverage Cody may receive compensation when information submitted through the Site is transferred to or used by an insurance provider or insurance professional.
By requesting to be matched, you understand that your information may be provided to one or more independent insurance professionals that may be able to assist you.
Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information are further described in our Privacy Policy.
Communications
Where you provide the appropriate consent through the Site, Coverage Cody and the insurance providers or professionals with whom you are matched may contact you regarding your insurance inquiry.
Communications may be made by:
- Telephone call;
- Text message; or
- Email.
Depending on the consent you provide, communications may use automated dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voices, or automated text-message technology where permitted by law.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing insurance.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
You may opt out of text messages by replying "STOP" and may unsubscribe from marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the email.
Insurance providers and insurance professionals are independent third parties. You may need to submit a separate opt-out request to each company that contacts you.
Third-Party Insurance Providers
Insurance companies, agents, brokers, agencies, call centers, and other professionals with whom you may be matched are independent third parties.
Coverage Cody does not own, operate, manage, or control these third parties and is not responsible for:
- Their products or services;
- Their licensing or appointment status;
- Their rates, quotes, or fees;
- Their eligibility or underwriting decisions;
- Their communications or sales practices;
- Their insurance recommendations;
- Their handling of your personal information;
- Their policy terms, exclusions, or limitations;
- Their claims decisions; or
- Any agreement or transaction between you and them.
You are responsible for confirming that any insurance professional you work with is properly licensed and authorized to offer the applicable insurance product in your location.
Any dispute involving an insurance policy, quote, product, agent, agency, or insurance carrier must be addressed directly with the applicable third party.
